NDS  was launched in 2008 by Creative Director and Head Designer Nektar De Stagni, with an emphasis on Jewelry, Accessories, and Editions. 

Nektar De Stagni as a label, is shaped by the understanding of design as an always evolving but careful process of synthesis and refinement, producing ongoing “Classic” collections which grow as new styles are added, and introducing new collections seasonally. In this way NDS seeks to highlight a considered process which emphasizes quality, is sustainable, and in line with the newest ideas. 

Nektar De Stagni is an American designer. Her approach to design often includes the playful balance of contrasting materials and ideas, resulting in objects that are both elegant and relaxed, classic and contemporary.An early student of fashion (she has sketches from the age 6!), her experience as a designer has been further enhanced by being part of, and sharing studios with a community of artists in Miami, Florida, including Martin Oppel, Bhakti Baxter, and Hernan Bas among others. Now with a new design studio and office in New York City, NDS's Miami beginnings serve as a spring board, where the full history and natural landscape of a resort destination mixes with a rich and complex urban center. 

Unique to her talent is Nektar's versatility. A testament to her sensibility for current trends, she is also a sought after DJ playing regularly for popular parties and private clients in the US and Europe. She has also designed and consulted for notable brands such as, KnollTextiles, The Webster, Design Miami, The Standard Hotels, and more.

Nektar De Stagni collections are sold in some of the best luxury retailers worldwide including The Webster Miami, Opening Ceremony NYC/LA/LONDON, Tomorrowland JAPAN, MoMA Design Store, The Standard Hotel Shops, and more (See Stockists). NDS editorial mentions have been published in the Wall Street Journal, New York Magazine, Elle, Vogue, New York Times, WWD, Nylon, Financial Times, L'Officiel, among others.  

Through special projects, events, and collaborations, NDS is also interested in exploring the places where the fields of art and design can and do intersect, as a way of introducing novel retail platforms and pursuing new presentation formats. Recent projects have included artists and designers such as Paola Pivi, Tom Sachs, Confetti System, Arielle De Pinto, and Jim Drain among others. NDS was the first fashion showroom in the Miami Design District (thru 2011), and was featured in the New York Times as Miami's must stop shop, as well as a favorite in Louis Vuitton and Wallpaper city guides.
