This piece also sometimes refered to as "Tipsy Bar", was created for Martin Oppel's solo exhibition "Forms of Fiction" at The Journal Gallery in New York. It is part of a body of work which includes functional objects such as an Incense Holder and a Laptop Stand, in metals such as Copper, Brass, and Stainless Steel. The series seeks to explore ideas relating to abstraction, within a familiar modern or geometric vocabulary. The elegance in the piece is offset by it's sense of humor, a trait characteristic in many of the artists works. 

This piece was also included in the exhibition "Hard Poems in Space" at NDS Shop.
